Today when I went to check my Reader, there was one person who had 151 posts! How can that be, you ask? Apparently, she took everything off one blog and added it to her other blog. She did have a post saying she was doing this but it came AFTER the fact.
I am so cheesed when this happens. When I find more than 200 updates in Reader in one 12 hour period, I know someone has done something screwy. Reader and other aggregaters reads this as new material. So even if it's been published before, it's published again under the new blog title.
Based on the blogger's message, she is gonna get another blog but she put the items on this one for safekeeping. Well, she can keep it to her self. I deleted her title and all 151 updates. I feel sorry for any one who got this as emails. At least mine were all at one time in the reader and I just hit unsub and it was removed.
Is there a blogging rule of conduct for stuff like this? I didn't want any of the new stuff she had put on the blog I did read-I would have subbed to the other one had I wanted it. I think there should be an animated "raspberry" we can send via a post to their blog anonymously when this happens!

I think I'm the guilty party here. I had posted a warning that I was going to do this last week. I'm not transfering from one blog to another but am canceling my overpriced corporate website and wanted to retain the information for my customers to easily find. I have 4 days to do this in and am just trying to keep all of the information I had worked to post over the last 2 years available to my customers who regularly access it on my website. I didn't realize it would send the posts in their entirety...should have known from your post the other day that you prefer them that way. I apologize and want to warn you now (not that it probably matters since you unsubbed) that I am still moving all my files to my blog and will be doing so for the next 4 days. After that it will be back to business as usual.
Raspberry humbly received and accepted.
Here's a suggestion - change your feed to "NONE" or "OFF", then after a week of moving everything over, you could turn it back on.... good luck!!! That's what I did.
Thank you for the suggestion. I am finished transfering now. So back to business as usual.
