Midnight Confessions

I have not shaved my legs since January 1 of this year. At first it was to see how long I could go before it drove me nuts with the pickiness. Then I got past that. Now it's to see just how long the hairs will get-they have slowed down. It was an odd resolution to try.

No one has noticed either. Not at the yoga class, or during spin classes. Or walking around at home in the light. And I stayed warmer all winter too. How long should I let it go? I have dark hair and the roots on my head are screaming for a touch up. Should I shave the legs then, too?

The only part that bothers me are the hairs on top of my big toes-reminds me of monkey toes! But sandal season is quickly approaching along with all the half naked fashions. I did do the pits and the eyebrows-but my legs are softer and less dry untouched.

I rarely shave my legs, and no one has noticed. I've not shaved my underarms for awhile either, which bothers neither me nor my husband. I don't much care what anyone else thinks. I'll shave when I feel like it or when it starts skeeving my husband out and he refuses to touch me.

I didn't shave my legs my entire 4 years of college. Eventually the hair stops growing and gets bleached by the sun and my bf, now DH, never cared anyway. It's soft! NOw I just don't shave in the winter months.
I also never shave my armpits in the winter. Once the hair is long enough I don't sweat a drop, and there is no smell either. Weird but true. Who gives a shit what "convention" says?
